What we collect
- What you give us: your name, phone number, email, the address of your property, and what you need done, when you ask for an estimate, book a visit, sign a quote or agreement, or contact us.
- About your property and our work: visit dates, services, notes, before-and-after photos and Home Health Reports our technicians take while working at your property, and your signature when you approve a quote or sign off on a walk-around.
- Payments: invoice and payment history. Card and bank details are entered on our payment processor’s secure page (Stripe). We never see or store your full card or bank account number.
- Calls and texts: texts you send to and receive from our business number, and recordings and written transcripts of calls to and from our business line. Calls are recorded for training and quality, and we tell callers at the start of the call where the law requires it.
- Feedback: ratings and comments you leave about a visit.
- Basic website data: like any website, our host keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security. We don’t use advertising trackers on this site. If you sign in to your account page, your browser keeps a small sign-in key so you stay signed in.
How we use it
- To give you estimates, schedule and do the work, send reminders and updates, invoice you and take payment.
- To answer your questions and keep a record of our conversations with you.
- To send you service reminders and offers, only if you’ve agreed to receive them (see “Text messages” below). You can stop any time.
- To train our team and improve our service, and to keep our records accurate and secure.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
Text messages
If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts, we text you from our business number about your request and your service: estimates and quotes, appointment reminders, “on my way” and “job finished” updates, invoices and payment links, sign-in codes for your account page, and replies from our team. If you also check the box to receive offers, we may send occasional seasonal reminders and promotions.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving texts from us, or HELP for help. Agreeing to texts is never required to buy from us. Full details are in our Text messaging terms.
We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or your text messaging opt-in with any third party or affiliate for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except the service providers that deliver our messages for us.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers that help us run the business, only as needed for that job: our payment processor (Stripe), our phone and texting provider (Twilio), our email provider (Resend), our website host (Netlify), and our accounting and payroll software. They are not allowed to use your information for anything else.
- Subcontractors we assign to your job, who receive what they need to do the work (such as the property address and the job details).
- When the law requires it, or to protect our customers, our team or our business.
- If our business is sold or merged, your information may move to the new owner, who must follow this policy.
How long we keep it
We keep customer records, invoices and photos as long as you’re a customer and for as long as we need them for warranty, tax and legal reasons afterward. Call recordings and transcripts are kept for training and quality and deleted when no longer needed.
How we protect it
Our team signs in with individual logins, and each person sees only what their job needs. Payment details stay with our payment processor. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and fix problems quickly.
Your choices
- Texts: reply STOP to any text. Reply START to receive them again.
- Emails: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
- Your information: call or email us to see, correct or delete what we have about you. We may need to keep some records (such as invoices) where the law requires.
Children
Our services are for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy we’ll post the new version here with a new date. Big changes we’ll also tell you about by email or text if we have your consent.
